Year 2 Weekly Homework (19/11/2020)

In maths this week we have been exploring lots of number patterns and looking at how to add and subtract a 2 digit number and a tens number.

We have also explored number lines and patterns as we add / subtract numbers and discussed how we can use  3 + 4 = 7 to help us with 43 + 4 = 47, 53 + 4 = 57, 63 + 4 = 67, etc.

For homework try these activities which are the same as we have completed in class (with different numbers!) so the children should feel more confident completing them.

Spreading Kindness

In school as part of our anti-bullying week activities we made a special ‘kindness card’ for a secret friend which made us all feel happy.

For homework we would like the children to spread as much kindness as they can at home – they could write a list in their exercise books or on this sheet recording all the different acts of kindness (no matter how small) they have carried out this weekend.

As always if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to send us a message and we are happy to help,

Have a lovely weekend,

From Mrs Boydell and Miss Williams
