School Council Visit Gillmoss Recycling Centre

Our School Coucnil rounded up this year’s spring term environmental initiative, ‘The Problem with Plastic’, with a visit to the Gillmoss Recycling Centre.

Councillors took part in educational workshops around waste and recycling and were then taken on a tour of the recycling centre itself! The whole day was fabulous and the councillors were in awe of all the machines working away at sorting the masses of recycling from the local communities. Now we were where are recycling goes and what happens to it!
