Making Mince Pies

The children had lots of fun throughout our D&T topic making delicious mince pies! We learnt how to; make pastry, baste the tin so our mince pies didn’t stick, what mince meat is made out of, cut the pastry and fill our very own individual mince pie. We choose our favourite festive cutter and added the cut out design to the top!

We are so proud of their hard work and think they all ended up looking fabulous.
