Mackerel Mummification

Our topic in year 5 is focusing on the Ancient Egyptians. We have been looking at several aspects of the Egyptian’s lifestyle and one of our main interests was mummification. To give the children a deeper understanding of this process, parents and carers were invited in to attend a mummification workshop, where the children worked in groups to showcase their knowledge of this ancient ritual.

Overall, we all had a brilliant morning and this couldn’t have been so successful without the support of the parents and carers. Thank you for your continued support.
