- SPELLING – we will be focusing on letter formation this half term using our school handwriting app, LetterJoin, which can be accessed via chrome or on a tablet/phone.

Click on each letter to watch the formation. Children can then practise in their home learning books. We can’t wait to see at least 5 great attempts for each letter on your child’s portfolio to share with your friends on Monday!
- ENGLISH/TOPIC – We will be learning all about the UK next week – can you research the UK and write down 1 fact or key word? If your child is still working on their letter formation, you can use the Letterjoin app or the resource added to this page to identify and copy each letter. Please encourage your child to sound out each word to include the sounds they can hear. Don’t worry about correct spelling at this stage of the year.
