Below are links to some excellent websites that you can access with your child to continue their learning in all curriculum areas whilst they’re at home.

Some of the sites are aimed at parents therefore, as with any internet use, children should be supervised by an adult when selecting and using the sites.


This is a fabulous maths website for children in Years 1 – 6. We make great use of this in school and children should already be accessing the activities at home. All children in Years 1 – 6 have their own login details. If your child has forgotten theirs, new details have been sent home this week.


This is a site that our Year 6 children use 3 times a week in school and should already be using at home. Use of this website will help children to develop their fluency of reading, comprehension and vocabulary. All of our Year 6 children already have their own login details.


A good site and useful for book recommendations linked with specific topics. 


Espresso is another fabulous website that the children are already using in school on a regular basis. It is packed with excellent activities that the children can access to enhance their knowledge and understanding of all curriculum areas. Oak National Academy


We are an online classroom and resource hub created by teachers, for teachers.

Our aim is to support teachers to support their pupils. We provide a bank of high-quality, sequenced video lessons and resources for teachers to use as they wish. We’ll cover a range of subjects including maths, English, art and languages.

Teachers can use these resources to complement their own lesson planning and remote teaching until schools fully re-open. Every lesson will be free to use for every teacher and every pupil.

Classroom Secrets is an online site with a selection of free downloadable resources providing fun, interactive and practical home learning packages that are designed to be used by children. These include interactive games, video tutorials and downloadable home learning packs.


Whizz Pop Bang is an award-winning kids’ science magazine, bursting with hands-on experiments, facts and fun. Now that schools are closed, they’ve compiled some FREE hands-on science experiments and science reading comprehensions to help you entertain, excite and educate your child at home.


All you need to do is click on ‘log in’ to create a free account – this can be set up by using your own personal email address and password. There are a wide range of books for children to read and enjoy! If you’re unsure what ‘level’ to select then please message your teacher and we’ll be able to direct you.


Twinkl have put together home learning packs for every year group. They contain a great mix of English and maths activities for the children to undertake, with parental support.

BBC Bitesize has lots of lovely, interactive, engaging activities for children to undertake on a laptop / tablet which will help them to develop their knowledge and understanding across all areas of the curriculum.


This is another website that have put together home learning packs filled with a wealth of resources to support learning in English and maths.


White Rose create fabulous maths reasoning problems for the children to puzzle through. Clicking on the ‘March Problems’ or ‘Barvember’ will take you to lots of problems aimed at Key Stage 1 and 2 children.


The ‘Creative at Home’ sections of this website give some lovely ideas for fun, ‘real life’ maths activities to undertake with your children.


This website has every past KS1 and KS2 SAT paper for reading, maths and SPaG since 2003. This could be used as an excellent revision resource for our Year 2 and Year 6 children.
